Versatility
Chlorine dioxide (ClO₂), the active component of GREENOX, is extremely versatile:

Bacteria
GREENOX destroys the membrane and then the core of bacteria through chemical oxidation, not chlorination. Microorganisms are completely destroyed and cannot develop resistance, making chlorine dioxide suitable for continuous use without alternating biocides.

Viruses
Thanks to its strong oxidizing ability, GREENOX destroys the protein envelope and the viral RNA/DNA, rendering viruses non-viable. It remains effective even at low concentrations and works through oxidation, not chlorination.

Biofilms
